Where can I buy Gardener's and Sabiles Cider products?

Our ciders can be purchased at the Sabile Cider House in the summer season, and in the grocery store "Saldo" in Sabile all year round. In Riga, you will find us in our dedicated shop in Āgenskalns Market, as well as in various bars and restaurants around the country. You can conveniently order our ciders online and have them delivered by parcel locker or courier service.

Can cider be ordered abroad?

Cider purchased in our online store can currently be delivered by courier to any country in the EU/EEA. The delivery cost is calculated before payment. For questions about delivery options, write to info@sabilessidrs.lv or fill in the contact form on the home page. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship products outside the EU/EEA.

Do you offer factory tours? Can I just show up?

We offer group tours at the Sabiles Sidrs cidery all year round, and we can accommodate both large and small groups. During the tour we will take you along the "apple road" of the factory, tell you about the history of cider and the production process, and conclude with a cider tasting.

Before coming to a tour, booking is required — write to info@sabilessidrs.lv or call +371 61 301 707. Cider brewing is seasonal, so if you arrive without an appointment (especially outside the production season), there might be no staff on site to welcome you. In the summer season you are welcome at the Sabile Cider House, where you can taste and buy our ciders and Latvian wines without booking ahead.

I don't know anything about cider… what should I buy?

Accepted Answer

Cider is made much like wine, but from apples instead of grapes. So when choosing a cider, you can compare it with your favourite wine — some varieties are drier, others sweeter. We recommend starting with the classic apple cider varieties — semi-dry or semi-sweet — which help you taste what cider really is. Our online shop includes tasting notes to help you match a cider with your food.

What is the difference between Gardener's and Sabiles Cider?

Gardener's Craft Cider and Sabiles Sidrs are the two brands and drink collections of SIA "Sabiles Sidrs". Sabiles Sidrs is the original brand, with more pronounced flavours, while the Gardener's Craft Cider range created in 2019 is lighter and has a different bouquet of aromas and flavours.
